Special Education Teacher

I am a 1984 graduate of Heard County High School. I attended West Georgia College where I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Grades Education in 1988 and my Masters degree in Middle Grades Education in 1995. I received my Early Childhood add-on in 2003 and and my Special Education add-on in 2014.
 
I began my teaching career in 1988 at Ephesus Elementary where I taught 4th grade for 12  years. After taking a year off, I returned to the Heard County School System where I taught the Early Intervention Program for the next 5 years at both Ephesus Elementary and Centralhatchee Elementary before returning to the classroom at Ephesus Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher. I taught 3rd grade for the next 4 years and then moved to 5th grade where I taught for 2 years. In 2012 I joined the staff at Heard Elementary School as a Special Education teacher. I am currently teaching Special Education grades 3-5 in the areas of math and English Language Arts at Heard Elementary School.
