SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT SURVEY -- Added 4/13/2015

As we reach the last weeks of the school year, we are beginning to plan for the 2015-2016 school year, including our School Improvement Plan.  We would like to have input from all stakeholders, including students, parents, and faculty/staff about our areas of strength and areas that we need to work on improving.

Please take just a couple of minutes and take the parent survey that is available at the link below.  We want, need, and appreciate your input as we continue to work to improve our school in order to provide the best possible learning environment for your child.

Thank you for your input and for helping us collect this information as we work to plan for our next school year.

Georgia Milestones

GEORGIA MILESTONES
 -- UPDATED 4/3/2015
Georgia Milestones is state exam that will replace the CRCT exam used in previous years.  This test will be taken by students in grades 3, 4, and 5. We will ask that you help us by making a special effort to have your child at school and on time during the testing week.  Since the test is lengthy, we try to start by 8:15 each day, and usually finish sometime around 11:30.

Also, to help your child do better, please make sure that he/she gets plenty of sleep the night before and eats a good breakfast that morning.   We are very proud of our students and how hard they have worked this year.  The Georgia Milestones is their opportunity to "shine" and show all that they have learned.

Testing Schedule:
Mon., Apr. 20 English/LA, Sections 1 & 2
Tues., Apr 21 English/LA, Section 3
Wed., April 22 Math
Thurs., April 23 Science
Fri., April 24 Social Studies
